Christmas '07

Christmas this year was a ball! This Christmas has to be one of the greatest Christmas I've had by far I have to say. But at the same time, it's still hard for me to believe that it's already come and done with. With us had just gotten back from New York City the 23 from shopping for Christmas and enjoying the city lights, then cooking up a storm on Christmas Eve. and on Christmas, follow by opening presents, that it all just went by in a flash and I can't believe its done with!

This Christmas was defiantly a different one than the usual Christmas' we've had. This year by boyfriend Chris got to stay the nights over at my house to wake up with us Christmas Eve. The reason I wanted him to stay the night was; Well, one, I really wanted to spend the experience of waking up Christmas morning to presents with him with my family, but the main HUGE reason was that he didn't have anyone to spend it with. His family lives in Mcallen, Texas and he has no family here. Well, beside us that is. The trick to getting him to stay the night was my father. But, my father kindly aloud him to stay with out really talking much about it. He's grown kind of attached to Chris; Which, I don't mind at all!!

Christmas this year was like having Thanksgiving all over again. It was like a fest! There was so much food that it was kind of overwhelming! I honestly could not believe just how much food there was!! We made the traditional ham and turkey like we do with most holidays, and along with my mothers Famous Mash Potatoes, our Sausage Stuffing, my favorite Broccoli Au Gratin, Sweet Cornbread and my Nana's famous Baked Macaroni and Cheese.

This is what we usually do every Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, this year, we added a little something different. Well, it wasn't really little... This year, along with all the usually food, me and my mother made our favorite and famous Lasagna! We wanted to add a little something different, even though it wasn't so little! We all had a really lovely time together this Christmas and I also know one thing for sure; I was so incrediabley full that I still feel like I'm bought to explode!
