Starbucks Sticky Toffee Pudding

As I was wandering around the city of New York in Time Square, I saw something that looked so good and caught my eyes and my stomach. It's kind of difficult to miss a Starbucks in New York City. There has to be one at every corner threw out the entire city! And from all the baked goods I'd seen from all the Stabucks in the city, I hadn't seen this. Sticky Toffee Pudding. I had never seen it in Stabucks. And I was in New York! Out of all the Stabucks in New York City, I hadn't seen Sticky Toffee Pudding out of any of them yet!

I had to try. I was bound determined to try it. So I went in waited in line. Which, had to of been a 10 minutes wait; Ridiculous! And there was only one Sticky Toffee Pudding left that I felt nervous that some one else might take it. However, in the end, I got the Sticky Toffee Pudding and enjoyed it very much. It wasn't as interesting as I thought it may, however, it was still very very yummy.

Quiznos Broccoli Cheese Soup

Quiznos hasn't been around too long and didn't necessarily become a chain restaurant until the year 2000 when they opened up 1000 restaurants across the U.S. This was the year when things started to heap up for Quiznos. Sales and business for the company started spiraling high, and by the year 2003, Quiznos had opened 2000 restaurants. Then by 2004, they opened they're 3000Th restaurants and was now in 15 different foreign countries! It was obvious they were quickly becoming big.

I've always been a huge fan of Quiznos since they opened up one store down the street. I never really enjoyed Subway because I found they're subs fairly boring and lacked taste. When I tried Quiznos for the first time, they're Chicken Carbonara was what caught my eye. It's a toasted sub with chicken, bacon, mozzarella and mushrooms with a creamy bacon Alfredo sauce. Sounded exquisite and I had to try it.

First bite was heaven. And I know now that I will never stick to having a normal boring sandwich, nor do I think anyone will once they've had one of Quiznos subs. They have a huge variety of Subs, as well as they're new Sammies, Salads, Soups and Bread Bowls. They also have chewy, giant cookies that are delicious to have with a sub. I've become pretty addicted to going to Quiznos lately. Being that my boyfriend works there, I can get my meals free!

Mm mm... Look at the chunky broccoli in there!
I asked my boyfriend to get me Broccoli Cheese Soup today from work. It's simply broccoli, carrots and cheddar cheese and is warm and creamy with plenty of chunks of broccoli in it. Which is exactly the way I love it! I was seriously craving this today and had my boyfriend speed home because I wanted it so bad! They're chunky, creaminess is something that is to love. This is my favorite soup to have and Quiznos defiantly makes it right! Quiznos isn't just good for they're subs; They're soups are amazing as well!

Ruth Chris Steakhouse

It was my 17th birthday today!

Well, not exactly. My birthday isn't till tomorrow, but we celebrated it today. How did we celebrate it? By going to one of the most awesome restaurants known to be! Ruth Chris Steakhouse!!

I absolutely love, love, love Ruth Chris! However, they're food is pretty pricey. So it's not something that you really get to go to all the time as would be liked. That is, if you don't have pockets full of cash. Which I do not have. But, it's good to go to for special occasions. Which is what was done for my birthday.

I'd been dieing to go back to Ruth Chris since I went last time, which was in the Spring for my fathers birthday. They're food in my eyes is like dieing and going to heaven. Never have I ever had such tasty, delicious steak like I've had at Ruth Chris! I'm not one whom really favors steak at all to begin with. However, put one of they're steaks in front of me, medium of course because I believe medium is the best way to have a steak done, it's just nothing that I'd ever had in my life. It's just so good that I can't put it into works.

And they're dessert! Oh my goodness the desserts!

A truly horrible picture, I know, but it's so dark in the restaurant that it's hard for my camera to take pictures in this kind of lightly. I don't favor flash. Nonetheless, you can still see by this sorry excuse for a photo as to how good they're dessert is!

This is they're Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce. New Orleans Style! And boy can I tell you; First bite and your in love! I swear, it's true love at first bite! Best Desserts ever is all I can say about they're Bread Pudding. Just truly amazing.

So my birthday dinner turned out to be one tasty one. Also, a extremely filling one! I stuffed myself, that's for sure! After a Petite Sirloin, Lyonnaise Potatoes, Broccoli Au Gratin and Bread Pudding; I think any ones bound to be stuffed! I don't think I've eaten so much in such a long time!

Marble Slab Creamery

Ice cream crave today!

I'm known to be really picky; With anything, not just food. And I'm very picky about my ice cream. Marble Slab Creamery is my kind of ice cream. A majority of people either go with store bought ice cream or Cold Stone Creamery. I've had Cold Stone and I don't favor they're ice cream one bit. There's just something about they're ice cream that I just do not like at all.

Marble Slab however is so delicious, sweet, creamy and my kind of ice cream! I've gone to the one that is nearest to my house so much, that they know who I am when I walk in and we always talk for awhile. They're always suggesting different kinds of ice creams for me AND I get discounts!!

They have been wondering as to where I've been in the past couple months, being that I haven't gotten ice cream in an extremely long time. They however said they expect me to come during the winter. I was one of those few customers that came during the winter. Actually, I was probably one of the only to get ice cream in the winter!

Strange, right?
I don't know. Last year, it was cold, I was freezing and couldn't take it. But, I would have this craving for ice cream even though I was freezing cold! They found it funny how I would walk in freezing and shaking then having ice cream. I don't care if its cold out! It I want ice cream, then I want ice cream!

I was going to get Butter Pecan, but, they actually had Nutter Butter for once! They're usually always out of the Nutter Butter ice cream and its my favorite to get. So, I got the Nutter Butter Ice Cream with Reese's. I would had done Snickers, but, Snickers is like, the worlds favorite chocolate bar! So, they didn't have any in stock. They ran out. It was sad... But Reese's is just as good.

My brother came with me and he got the usual. Vanilla with M&M's. He needs to expand his taste. He gets the same things everything. So boring... Plus, I'm tired of spending money on something he gets all the time!

Cinnamon Scone and Dulce de Leche Frappuccino

Woke up for some Starbucks today. And for as many times as I go there; I had yet to try the Cinnamon Chip Scone. So, I decided, that's what I'm having for breakfast. I got a Dulce de Leche Frappuccino and a Cinnamon Chip Scone. My brother got a Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino because he's not to big on coffee; which I find quite odd. That's problem just me with me being such a big coffee fan.

The Cinnamon Chip Scone was awesome! It was like bitting in to a Cinnamon bun; All the yummy cinnamon and chewy goodness. I'll defiantly be getting that scone again! But I think I'm going to have a hard time when it comes to choosing between the Blueberry Scone and the Cinnamon Chip Scone. They're both so amazing!

The Dulce de Leche Frappuccino was very delicious as well. It was actually my first time trying it. It almost tasted like the Caramel Frappuccino, just with a little bit more of a hint of coffee. It was a good way to wake up.

Hot Cakes

Today I wanted some Breakfast.
So, I went and had breakfast with my Brother and my Grandmother at the diner Brain's.
We've gone there ever since I can remember. I've lived of they're breakfast for my whole life.

I decided Hot Cakes for today. Usually I would get the No. 2, which consists of 3 silver dollar pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon and sausage, but I always get that. So I just got Hot Cakes; Though my brother and Grandmother both got the No. 2. We're kind of known to always get that order :]

My Brother and Grandmother didn't waste time to scrarf they're food down.

They we're having a special today that not even I could pass down.
$2.00 for a Brownie a la mode! Though it was only and extra $1.50 off, it's still was a pretty awesome price because they're pretty damn delicious!

Me and my Grandmother are going to start going out to eat every week.
I'm pretty cool with that because I love to enjoy going out.

Hot Brownie Sundae

Went to the Taproom at Dubsdread tonight.
Had a very yummy dinner, which was Grilled Chicken with provolone cheese melted on top; My favorite cheese! I also ordered a side of rice, but it wasn't to my liking. It was dry and, apparently I was the only who thought this, but I didn't taste any flavor at all. Maybe I'm just to use to steamed rice.

But of course I couldn't leave without dessert! I love desserts more than anything! It's the reason I go out to eat! Sometimes, I'll choose dessert first, and maybe, just maybe, I'll order a meal. This does frustrate my parents sometime, but they're just happy to see me eat.

I order the most sinful dessert on the menu - The Hot Brownie Sundae.
Every bite was like a piece in heaven. So delicious!

Ruth Chris Steakhouse

For my father birthday, he wanted to go to Ruth Chris Steak House;
I've never been there before, so I couldn't wait. I love going to new restaurants. It's fun to experience something new. Though I was kind of nervous about what would be on the menu, since I'm not that big on eating steak, I knew that there would be something on the menu that I would eat; And I thought right.

While everyone else go Steak, I decided to get the Stuffed Chicken Breast. It was Oven roasted free-range double chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese and served with lemon butter. It was different, and I had never tried anything like it before. I didn't eat much of it because I ordered the lyonnaise potatoes. They were so delicious! They were sautéed with onions and cut thinly but not too thin, just the way I like.

I didn't eat at all the whole day because I was saving up for going out to eat, so of course I was getting a dessert!! I got the Bread Pudding. It was just like the New Orleans version and every bit was to die for! I would go back just to have the dessert!

Cookie's and Cream Freezer

I love, love, love Barnie's Cookie's and Cream Freezer, even though it's an absolute sin when you have them!

These drinks are a sugar booster! There have been a few times of when I have them that I start shaking because I'm on such a sugar high! Aside from that, they are delicious! And it aggravates me that Starbucks is buying out so many of they're store. Though I do like Starbucks Coffee, In my opinion, Barnie's coffee is much much better than Starbucks.

I'm just glad that they're is at least one store of Barnie's coffee around me. I think I would pull my hair out if they're wasn't! They're coffee is just so good!!

Ice Cream! I need Ice Cream!

I was in a serious craving for ice cream. And I'm picky about my ice cream. I don't like the store bought brand. I like it to be fresh and creamy. So, I headed over to Marble Slab Creamery and had a hay day with ice cream. I got Peppermint Ice Cream mixed with Strawberry Ice Cream, with crushed oreos, peanut m&ms and butterfinger! Oh yeah!

Cost me about 6 to 7 dollars, but it was worth it :D
And it sure didn't take me long to eat it all. I devoured it in minutes! Though, I did have time to take a picture.

Marble Slab Creamery has some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. They have a wide variety of ice creams to choose from and several different mix ins. And they have the tastiest cones I've ever tasted. They are freshly made the day you buy them! I've been very addicted to they're ice cream ever since they opened the store down my street over a month ago. Cold Stone Creamery has nothing on them :D
